Localizing the data present in the company database, by using the address and/or other administrative information present in the data, is the basis for the implementation of the geographical intelligence in a business environment. This is called the geocoding process. Geokeys has developed fast and efficient tools for approaching the generale geocoding issues in a complex context such as the company I.T. organization. Once geocoded, i.e. reported on the territory, the critical data are organized in a structured relational database model, for use by the other geographical tools and products. The data stored in the centralized database are made available to the end users via the company intranet or the internet, since all the Geokeys products are developed as full-web applications (accessible from within browsers). Some applications are also accessible from remote terminals such as mobile phones. All the Geokeys products are provided as customized solutions to the client, as they are fully developed in-house and based on technology standards, such as HTML, XML, SQL, Java, OpenSource, etc… The solutions can be provided either as single supplies or as integrated systems, depending on the company needs and I.T. structure. Remote web services can also be set on demand.
